Hey guys! So last September it was determined by the CN and an OB that I had PCOS. Due to splitting up with my ex fiancé, I couldn’t get established with any sort of medications because of a dramatic move and change. About two weeks ago, I finally got into a new OB and she started me on Metformin and birth control. BUT before I start with this birth control(Nuva ring) I need to take 14 days of 200mg progesterone. I started bleeding after taking 6 pills and now I have until Tuesday(5 days) until they are gone. She also said wait until the following Sunday before starting my birth control. So does that mean I’m going to be bleeding for another 5 days or am I going to be bleeding until I start my birth control(which is suggested to be in another 10 days) !?! Before I started having issues, I was typically only bleeding for 4 maybe 5 days and I feel like I’m so limited on what I can do because of this period. Help? Anyone? Please? 😇
