He has arrived.
I went to the hospital Sunday night for contractions, I was dilated to a 2-3 and contractions weren’t doing anything so they sent me home. I went to bed and would wake up to stronger contractions. Finally Monday morning arrives and contractions are strong. I couldn’t walk through them anymore. Figured I would wait to go to the hospital a little longer. So I took my daughter to school and did a little bit of shopping. Finally went in and at 10:30am I was dilated to a 5 so they kept me. Contractions got stronger and I requested an epidural. Got that around 12:30pm. And was able to rest for a half hour. Baby Alexander was born at 1:01pm Monday. I had no ripping and out of all three of my kids this was the easiest. All this was happening while my husband was at a different hospital having reconstruction foot surgery. Luckily before they took him into surgery I was able to send him a picture of his new son.

Baby Alexander born 1:01pm Monday May 21st. 6pounds 5ounces 19inches.

My hubby visiting after his surgery.
