Vaginal vs C-section
I'm high risk due to my previous losses. Currently 36 weeks dealing with pregnancy induced hypertension. Baby is measuring big and they have been constantly checking me for GB.
My doctor doesn't want to take any chances with this delivery. I am currently dilated 2cm and he's hoping that's a good sign my body is doing what it needs to do on its own.
However if baby doesn't come on his own, they are inducing me June 5th. I will only be able to labor for 12 hours. If no baby arrives, they are taking me for a C-section.
I really wanted to be able to have a vaginal birth. But I get it, things don't always go as planned.
Is there anything I can do to maybe help my body have an easier vaginal birth?! Might be a weird question 😂 I am so bummed about possibly having a C-section but I'll do whatever I have to do to make sure baby arrives safely.
If I do have to have a C-section..... how is the recovery? I've only prepped myself for a vaginal delivery 😩
