Uti And alcohol?

So I have a UTI and I’m starting the 3 day antibiotics today.. there’s a party tonight and ofc I wanna drink. Have any of u done it and is it ok? I know online it says not to but maybe it wont make that much of a difference. Let me know!

antibiotics and alcohol are not good to mix for very very very good reasons especially if the instructions for your antibiotics says not to drink. either dont drink or wait to start. the rules are there for good reason, studied by people much more knowledgeable than you about drug interactions. its not just for fun

ive had plenty of utis and still drank🤷‍♀️ they always went away. it says stay away from alcohol, but plenty of people still drink while taking meds.

They say to stay away from alcohol on antibiotics because it can make you sicker, and cause dizziness. It’s pretty much enhancing your hangover.
