Loving someone who cheated?

If you wonderful girls out there have similar experience please help a girl who's stuck
My partner cheated 3 times while we were long distance, and lied for a couple months before finally telling me, he said I deserved to know the truth. We got together and he tried everything to stay with me so I agreed to stay.
Its been 8 months since he came out to me about the cheating but I still can't forgive him or trust him.
I get these horrible anxiety when we are long distance again! And he blames me when I overthink:/
What should I do?

Just leave. It'll become a hassle to forgive him and trust him. Especially long term. It's ok to love him but have some respect for yourself and leave!

I had a similar experience. We dated for 4 years and he cheated on me at least 4 times, that I know of. Each time I forgave him and hoped it wouldn’t happen again. And each time it did. It finally ended after he cheated on me while we were engaged and I caught him again. This time I gave him the ring and walked away. It was my first real relationship and it was hard to believe it was over and very hard to walk away. But what I learned was that I deserve someone who loved me more than that. And I did. It took many years a lot of stupid choices to grow up. But I’m married now to someone I love so very much. And I cannot imagine what my life would be had I not left.

One good thing is he actually came out and told you the truth/what happened. I have proof that my boyfriend cheated but I dont have proof of the actual act or who it was so he wont come clean. I have been trying to figure it out for yearsss now no luck though he has hid his tracks well other then the email I found in his writing and also phone numbers on his phone from a texting app which I believe was used to hide the identity of the person he was cheating on me with from 10 mins after he got to work (at the time he worked midnights in a complex and only had 2 coworkers each had their own huge zone to clean would have been very easy for him to sneak girls in there or I was thinking could have even been with his one coworker). Anyways it sounds like as he has told the truth you can move on but it will take alonggggg time.

I went through it. The cheating did stop and eventually my mind stopped thinking about it all the time. But whenever I get upset I notice I still bring it up. I told him I could tell him I forgive him all I want I just guess I dont feel it yet. Ill be fine until I get upset and my mind immediantly pretty much goes there
