sunscreen and baby?

okay yall. it's that time of the year to go swimming and play outside. what kind  of sunscreen are you putting on your babies? my LO is 5 months old and I have a 3 year old with VERY sensitive skin! I would like to get something I can use on the both of them but I have no idea what brand or what's safe. please help a girl out!!

Ask your doctor but just so you know it’s not recommend using sunscreen until six months. I know your 5 month old is close, but just use a rash guard and keep her shaded.

when I asked my pediatrician about this last summer, she said they dont recommend putting sunscreen on babies till they hit 12 months

I've used spf 50 on my son since he was 8 months old. Never harmed him.

There are no safe sunscreens in my opinion. My daughter is almost a year old and we live in Florida. She’s gotten by with rashguards and shade, but we’ll be going to the beach this summer and I have already bought pure zinc oxide powder to mix with Shea butter or something similar. I’m not sure of the recipe, but you can search for it online. We’ll continue to use shade and rashguards though. And we try to give her about 10 minutes of full sun exposure a day too.

aveeno baby is what I recommend my lil one had a bad reaction to coppertone baby and aveeno worked great
