First tattoo

I got my first tattoo a couple months ago. I can’t wait to get the next one, but this one is so special.

In the last five years I have lost two of the closest people to me, and went through a miscarriage.

One I watched battle cancer. The strength she showed was amazing. She fought with style and grace until the very end. It broke my heart to watch her go through all that, and watch how strong she was for the rest of us. I think she knew the good lord was going to call her home, but she never gave up. She knew that some how she was going to end up free of cancer and free of pain.

Early this year I unexpectedly lost my grandmother. She was an amazing woman. She showed strength even through the hardest of times. She did anything for her family, and made me promise in the last weeks of her life, that I would stay strong and stay in school. She is the inspector for my career in education.

That is where the words “stay strong” come from.

The heart is for my little one. This is a wonderful reminder of the mother, and woman I want to be. It keeps me going on the hardest days. I love my three angles more then words could say. I would do anything to have them here with me, but I know I have to keep moving forward.

Fly high my angles!
