Question!

Does taking the plan B pill cause your period or spotting to start? I took one on Tuesday. Today is Saturday and it feels like my period is starting and I spotted this morning. Just wondering if this is normal or?? I've never taken a plan B before so I'm wondering if it's linked. I already had my period for this month so I'm confused. Input appreciated!
