Problem with blood sugar monitor?

My fasting blood sugar was super low for me this morning (69) so I took it again just to make sure and it went up to 78 and I took it a third time since it went up 10 steps in a matter of seconds and it was 74. Is this a normal thing or something wrong with the monitor? Anyone else have these issues?

The margin of error on meters is up to 15%, so it’s not that crazy.

from what I know, 60 or below is low. at 60 I re test and if still 60 or below I have juice. easy 😏 no need for alarm

You can get calibration fluid if you are having issues with readings and try that out to see if it fixes the problem.

Were u using the same finger for all readings? U can’t if u were, readings would be incorrect. I find it normal for my meter to range up to 10 numbers either way. If it’s anymore than that call the manufacturer and tell them the issue, they will mail u a new meter

Im assuming your hands where dirty. wash woth soap and let air dry our use an alcohol swap. if it ever seems off at all just retake.
