So on May 4th I started birth control pills for the first time. I took my first pill on the first day of my period since that is what my doctor told me to do. The pamphlet says that taking it on the first day of my cycle gives me protection immediately. Three days ago on the 23rd, I had unprotected sex with a friend. He pulled out and did not come inside me but we had sex again later after he came so there was a possibility of precum. Yesterday was the first pill of my inactive week but my period has not came yet. Is it likely that I am pregnant even though the pills said I'm protected immediately? Or does your period not come on the first day or the inactive pill? Or is my body still getting used to the new cycle of pills? I'm really in need of some advice from you ladies.
