period at 1month PP and EBF?!?!??

my son is 1mth old today and i am exclusively breastfeeding. 
i stopped bleeding about a week and a half ago and all of a sudden i started bleeding red, some brown blood yesterday. it hasnt stopped or slowed. 
could this really be my period?????

It certainly could.  Mine came back about 4-6 weeks. It was early. Watch for any symptoms that may indicate infection though.

I am EBF my fourth child. I started my period exactly 6 weeks postpartum with all four kiddos. Just got it again, right on time. I don’t know why the info out here all says lots of women don’t get it- many of my friends and myself all did. I guess we are just really fertile! Good luck!
