Cultivating healthier relationships?

So far this year, I've been doing what I can in properly loving myself. of course, the journey never stops and I've got a LONG way to go.

What I came to realize is just how deep past events have run in impacting the relationships I have (both on a platonic and romantic level).

How can I move past what's happened years ago so it no longer affects my confidence, self-esteem and the level of intimacy towards others?
