Testing advice

Ok ladies I need some advice. My husband and I have TTC for 1.5 years. AF was suppose to come yesterday and didn’t and I still don’t have it ( usually I wake up with it). In the past I have taken hpt and they are negative, this is weird for me to be this off while using the app ( I have Been spot on since I got on the app). Is it to early to test, I do t want to get excited and have a negative result, or should I go for it. I’m really nervous, I just have a feeling that this is our month.
