Is it ok to have a baby shower for Baby #3?

I feel like every child is a blessing and I really want to celebrate this one too. I wonder if some people will think it’s too much. This will be our last baby!!

I say it depends on how close the kids are together, and if it’s a different sex than you already have. If it’s been years since you had a baby and need all the baby stuff then sure, but if you have it all then I wouldn’t hold a baby shower. Instead after baby is born I’d hold a little get together so people can come meet baby and celebrate it that way. Then it’s not about the gifts but about the baby.!

I’m having another daughter. She’s our second child. We’re having a shower since it’s been 4 years and we gave away stuff and tossed some when we moved last year. We randomly decided the time was now for another so we didn’t think that through lol honestly though, only my aunt has bought us anything off the registry and no one has accepted the invite.

So I have a 5 year old daughter and a 14 month old son and I’m having another boy. I wasn’t planning on having another shower but my Husband’s good friend (also our landlord) wants to throw us one so we agreed because we love celebrating our babies. I’m not making a registry, I just told her if people want to bring diapers or wipes or clothes or whatever that would be wonderful! I don’t find it tacky unless you’re asking for things like another crib or expensive things like that ya know?

I have had one for my first boy and than had got pregnant with my first girl when my son was 11months old and now my son is 8yrs old and daughter is almost 7yrs old and I still had all baby clothes for both kids and all the big stuff from them but this is the baby’s fathers first baby and it’s a boy so we thru a shower but told everyone we needed only bigger clothes and diapers and wipes and blankets and bath stuff and no one showed even tho 50 said they were coming so dads side is throwing one this coming Saturday and luckily I’m not gonna be mad if not many or no one comes bcz I have everything we need we could use more diapers but that’s about it now

I’m a fan of throwing baby showers for each child if that’s what mama wants. I hosted my sisters baby shower for her second in April and all she wanted was just to replenish her stash. Stuff like her lotions, bath stuff, diapers and wipes, etc. she didn’t want all the stuff that you’d get with your first and she made that clear because my nephew was only 18mos at the time and they had everything already. She did ask for a few neutral clothes for newborn and 0-3 because they did not find out what the baby was (my niece was born on the 10!) and all they had were boys clothes from my nephew when they found out before.
Do whatever you want! People who want to partake will, those who don’t, won’t. Don’t let anyone make you take flack for your decision either 😊

First of all there is a lot of new things coming out all the time why have to use the same ole stuff .. sure use some old stuff from prior babies but every baby deserves new things .. I know I will
