Water too chilly?

Is swimming in cold water safe during 2nd trimester? Like an unheated pool, or lake. 
Healthy pregnancy and no other concerns.

I did it this week, I just gradually got in and he kicked and kicked but it was so relaxing!

No reason comes to mind that it wouldn’t be, unless it’s cold enough to make you crampy. Best to ask your doctor or call a nurse line if you’re concerned though.

Totally safe! Just nothing above your body temp. That’s where the possible danger is. Even that in moderation isn’t the end of the world as long is it’s not extreme... our bodies are pretty amazing!!

I’ve never heard of too cool being an issue just too hot, like no jacuzzis. I’ve gone swimming a couple times already in an I heated pool. Was about 78-80’ water. But I’ve never asked a doctor, now I will haha.
