Is anyone currently on medication for hyperthyroid? I was diagnosed with hyperthyroid when they ran blood work to see why I had back to back mc. By the time I found out about the hyperthyroid (I’m being told it’s severe) I was already pregnant again. I went to an endocrinologist who diagnosed me with Graves Disease and said I have tremors, elevated body temp, rapid weight loss, breathlessness and my heart is pounding too hard and too fast as a result of the hyperthyroidism. She started me on the only medication she said was safe in the first trimester (polythiouracil I think). If I lose this pregnancy too I will move over to the other recommended more effective meds. Is anyone taking this medication?
