Im 31 weeks pregnant and having my baby shower next week hosted by my mom. It will be a small shower with a few relative's , coworkers and friend's. I invited my husbands side of the family to be nice, but I dont expect anything gifts or attendance from them as they live out of state. My MIL now wants to throw a virtual shower for that side of the family her reasoning behind it is that many people on her side cant come next week bc they live out of state and she wants me to have lots of presents. I dont really need presents or a huge shower. I have been very thrifty buying things on sale and many people have already given me their hand me downs. What should I do? I dont want my husbands side feeling pressured to buy gifts for another shower when they were already invited to my mom's, but I also dont to hurt my MIL feelings as I dont know her very well and have been married less than 1 yr.
