We had a miscarriage last August at 11 weeks. Two days before we found out the baby had no heartbeat, I announced our pregnancy on social media, only to have to let everyone know we lost the baby. It was awful because I kept the secret so long just to be let down. Even if I didn’t announce, my heart was so broken that I wouldn’t have been able to hide our loss anyway. This time, I’m just telling people whenever asked. I would rather have the love and support from the get go. It seems better to just take everyone along on the journey. 😊

We announced on my birthday just a couple days shy of 6 weeks. I have PCOS, and I believe in being open about my struggles with infertility, as well as any joyful moments on this journey.

We announced at 8 weeks with my son but we aren't really sure when we will announce with this one. We may just wait until the gender ultrasound but who knows. I will most likely be showing some by then (I did a little with my son) but after that I ballooned and I know I won't be able to hide that.
