Fibroids?!

Question

I have a 2 fibroids, one very small and the other size of softball next to my tubes. Any advice on this? How was surgery? What would you do different? How long was your hospital stay? How long were you out of work for? Any advice would be amazing.

Oh my hospital stay was 2 nights and Dr. recommended being home for 6 weeks to ensure proper recovery

I recently had a myomectomy to have mine removed..I had a large one and couple smaller ones..I would recommend you do your research and if you opt to do surgery find a good Dr who specialises in those types of surgeries that you're comfortable with..so so important is also what hospital you choose to have it done because your will need a good helpful team of nurses and family to support you. The surgery was an experience, you wake up in the recovery room and it's like..yea it's over and that's when you need your team to take care of you..it's a step by step process...very slow, having to walk again like a 96 yr old granny..the most challenging part for me so far has been gas pains..they are the Worst. The worst. No working out, but you improve gradually and should be back to normal around 6 weeks
