I've actually never given it much thought. it's not really my business as it has little effect on anyone but those involved.

Shoot. My husband and I did that with Twitter only because both of us didn't care to have an account but our friends kept begging us to get one. So we shared an account. That lasted 2 weeks. Neither of us have used the account since because neither of us liked Twitter . Now I am embarrassed that people may have thought something was wrong with our relationship 😬

I have one with my SO and one that’s just mine. We’ve had absolutely zero problems with cheating. I use like to use our joint fb for posting pics of family events and our kids. My individual account is the one I use for my close friends and I’m more raunchy or free with what I say on there because none of his family is a friend on that account. 
Not to mention, I know his ex still stalks me. She’s blocked from my personal account but not on our joint account. This is strictly because I shamelessly like posting pics of us to make her mad. 
I really don’t get why people care if couples share a FB account. I mean if you’re living together you’re sharing everything anyway so why not share a fb?  Why jump to assuming negatives like someone is cheating or that there’s no trust?  If you think about it, couples that share a fb have to really trust each other. You’re trusting each other not to say offensive things because every time one of you post something, the other person is posting it too.

I laugh, because clearly we have to monitor one another’s movements 24/7 😂
That’s normally the crazy bitch who would be logged into her boyfriends FB if it was separate anyways. 
The ONLY exception is older couples (40 plus), like my parents. My dad doesn’t understand FB or write English so they share one and my moms signed into her phone and my dad is signed into his tablet. But my dad never uses the messenger feature, he just uses it to look at pictures from back home.
