How To Wipe Baby Girl? 🤔

I’ve read conflicting things online so I was hoping the nurture community can help me! 
I was wondering when wiping a baby girl do you always open up the labia and clean inside or only when they’ve got poo in there? 
Different websites say different things... help!

I always wipe inside and out, front to back regardless of what’s in the nappy. 
You wipe yourself inside and out when you’ve been to the toilet so it’s the same for your Baby. Obviously when there is Poop there’s a little more cleaning involved.

always wipe. even the pee can irritate her and cause a rash. also can the area with a diper or blow on her for a second. this helped me a ton as well and she loved the coolness of it!

My mom never opened me at all and I ended up closing and they had to reopen me.

I've always opened and cleaned very easily if they only peed and thoroughly if they pooped. Then I let either air dry or wipe any wetness before putting on the new diaper. I have 2 healthly girls. I feel we wipe every time why shouldn't they? Especially since they sit in diapers and we may not notice right away that they peed.
