When stuff doesn’t add up

Ok, here is my little rant about what it’s frustrating to go for an early ultrasound when u don’t hear the stuff u want to hear. 
LMP: 6th April 
Peak as per opk: 21st April so assume ovulation then or just after
Period due: 4th May
1st U/S: 19th May (app says I should be 6+1)
Feedback at u/s is gestational sac measures 6mm so gestation less than 5 wks. WTF?
1st bloods: 25th May. Hcg levels 7,600. In line with 7wks according to them (app also says I should be 7wks). Google puts a hcg level of 7,600 at anywhere from end of 5wks to start of 7wks.
Don’t u just hate it when shit doesn’t add up and u just wish u knew what was going on!
2nd u/s scheduled for 1st June. App reckons that should be 8wks on the dot. Will be interested in what they date me at this time. I just want to know everything is ok!

It is confusing but until the f/u US consider yourself as pregnant as the day of your last period. Once you get the more accurate measurements at the ultrasound, your due date may adjust. HCG and even measurements via US are all along a  wide range, so don't fret too much about where you are in that range. Just go by the due date they tell you after the US, which is only ever an educated guess anyways. It may not change from the due date based on your LMP.

I agree. Trust the measurements from that first ultrasound. I was only one day off from the app compared to my measurements. Due Jan 15 according to my doctor but I had to set my due date to Jan 14 on here to get the dating to match what my doctor told me.
Then my mom told me this weekend my older sister was born a whole month early. So who knows

I'm going through the same thing, so I completely understand how you feel. My LMP was 4/25 my HCG level was 9680 yesterday, but in the US the sac appeared empty because the Dr said it's too early to see anything. So more blood tests Tuesday and another ultrasound in a week.

I wouldn’t worry about it. I mean I know it’s frustrating but don’t set ur heart on a date until the ultrasound. Which they already gave u a date and that may or may not change depending on how big baby is. There’s just really no way of knowing FOR SURE the day of conception so all the docs can do is give an educated guess :)
