Anyone with weight loss tips?

I’m 19 years old, 5ft and 7.5in tall and weigh about 280lbs. I am trying to loose weight for obvious reasons (obese). Me and my BF go on hikes and stuff and try to eat well but it’s not been enough to really loose. I may go down an ounce or two here and there but that’s it and I’m not measuring any differences... I don’t have a weight goal or a time limit I just need tips on how to get the “scale” moving in the right direction?

I’ve increased my water intake and lowered my sugars. I’ve cut out soda and (mostly) chips and candy. I try to find alternative foods that meet my cravings. I’m just looking for any other advice that can be given?
