I have to really think about it cause my and partner have been together 15 years and marry 8 and also we have a child together. Pro and cons would I able trust him everyday and how affected our child

It depends. Not on what he did but if he consciously made the decision. For example, if some chick put Rohypnol in his drink and they had sex, that’s cheating. However, he didn’t make that choice, so I wouldn’t be upset with HIM. Would I want him to be more careful in the future? Yes. Would I want to be sure that he was telling the truth? Yes but, it does depend on if he consciously made a choice to be unfaithful.
