Constipation, what do you use???

So I’m 19w and was wondering what stool softeners do you guys use?? I’ve been so constipated and nothing is helping at all it’s a weekly thing one good time a week if I’m lucky. Other than that kill me now!! I just want something that actually works and decently fast that won’t hurt baby

I take one metamucil caplet a day! I went almost 2 weeks without a BM. I thought I was going to die. milk of magnesia got me going, metamucil is keeping it regular.

I drink this tea, you can buy it in amazon right now for $5. It's called Smooth Move, it's best to take it at night because it REALLY gets your tummy rumbling. I've been having issues with constipation as well and to me that tea really works.

I have bowel disease and struggle to regulate myself the natural ways so I use movicol it's OK to use in pregnancy if I remember rightly it draws water to the stool to move it through more smoothly. It has been a god send for me  🙌🏼

A few sips of prune or pear juice when it gets really bad. Would rather that than any medication (most constipation meds aren’t regulated or studied to determine the effects - technically we ARE the study). Good luck!

Fresh orange juice with bits in has been working for me, the smooth stuff didn’t work x
