Baby crib in walk-in closet?

Question

Okay so before anyone freaks out, we have a HUGE walk in closet. Probably at least half the size of a decent bedroom. We are buying a house in 6 months but right now we just have a one bedroom condo. Is that super messed up to have the baby sleep in the closet? I know that sounds bad but it really is a huge closet 🙈🙈 what is your set-up with a one bedroom place and a baby?

I don’t see a problem with it, as long as there aren’t like clothes hanging right over the crib. 
But even in our 4 bedroom home I had my son’s crib right next to my bed until he was 9 months. So in a 1 bedroom I would just do that because I’m sure I would need the full closet for storage and I feel safer having him right next to me.

Most people don’t have their baby sleep in a different room for the first 6 months anyway

My little brother used my parents walk in closet until he was 2 :) 
We’re in a one bedroom and our son is 21 months. His crib is in the corner in his own little spot.

I knew a guy that put a twin mattress in his closet so the floor was wall to wall mattress and slept in there. No one is judging, just do what works for you.

i dont see a problem with it long as baby is safe and nothing hanging over him or her. even with us having a big house (4 bedroom upstairs 2 down) i always slept with my newborns next to our bed. 30w1 d 3rd baby first girl lol we have two boya who are 5&2. just be careful

Well if u put a crib in it than it’ll no longer b considered a walk-in but a room. A very small room but a room. So no worries. We all do what we have to do and for the first six months I’m sure the baby will fine and won’t notice the difference

My sons crib is right by our bed. It doesn’t leave much space, I have to crawl over my SO’s side of the bed to get to where I can lay down just because of how we have it placed. He has his own room but we got nervous and moved him to our room.
I’m moving him back this weekend. I think he’ll sleep better in there, since my SO snores and talks in his sleep, it usually disturbs our son and wakes him up. And my SO watches random videos right before bed and 9/10 times he doesn’t turn the volume down and listens to loud videos.🤷🏻‍♀️
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it if there’s not anything hanging over the crib or that could fall in to it.
