Early pumpers?

I'm planning to breastfeed amld pump. I never knew and only found out today that you can pump after 36 weeks (assuming you get Dr. approval). I am 39 weeks and used my Spectra s2 pump.. 10 minutes each breast.. I got 15ml! Is anyone else pumping their liquid gold hoping to stockpile before baby comes?

It youre planning on pumping and breastfeeding I would wait. They need the colostrum right away so you will be introducing the bottle first, not breast, since you've pumped colostrum. I would try breastfeeding first then start to store milk and introduce bottle after.

No because once I introduce a bottle, the baby won't be getting colostrum anymore
