Bare feet?

In warm weather, do you let your kids go barefoot in your backyard?

Always. My husband and I grew up barefoot in the summer months. I don't find it to be an issue.

We have stray cats and other animals that poop in the yard and if they have certain parasites it's easy to catch barefoot (Like hook worms). we also have snakes occassionally, nothing poisonous yet. Plus we have some areas with fire ants, we try to control it the best we can though and keep her away from the area.

My yard is the most sticker filled yard in the world, so no. If I didn't have them, I would.

Late winter/early spring on nice days they did. Now my grass is so tough! They can be barefoot on the patio but if they went on the grass they get shoes on

My son isn't quite old enough for shoes, 11 months, and yanks his socks off almost immediately. When we play outside I usually let him go barefoot. I'll often start him out with socks but once he pulls them off I don't keep trying to put them back on 😉

No, but only because where I live we have a lot of stickers and snakes
