At how many weeks is considered full term?

From my understanding 37 weeks is considered “term” but full term is 39 weeks. :) hope that helps

Full Term: 39 weeks
Early Term: 37 weeks to 38 weeks and 6 days. 
Pre Term: Anything before 37 weeks.

I always heard 38 weeks. But my son was born at 37 and the nurse asked the doctor if she should record him as premature and she said, “no, he’s full term” 🤷🏼‍♀️

Technically between 36-37 weeks is when baby is full term as they usually come home with no NICU stay or issues. But recent studies say 39 weeks is actually full term as the last few weeks greatly increase chances of a healthier baby
