Oh wait. You're asking if you get the same literary enrichment from fanfic as you do from books? Still no. Most of the popular books out there are written by professional authors whose work has been edited and deemed good enough to publish. Lots of fanfic is written by a someone with less experience as an author. Which is great, since there are a lot of cool authors who aren't published yet. But I would consider fanfic less enriching than normal books. Haha, idk why I just randomly came back to this post. But, there's my new answer.😅
