I had my 12 week visit today. I actually lost 2 pounds since my 8 week appointment, so that's cool. I thought I got another ultrasound but I didn't. Sad! However, we did get to hear the heart for the first time and it was amazing. My husband got teary eyed and I was just in awe. He counted and it was 132 bpm, I guess that indicates boy but I think it's a girl. I also had my blood drawn for genetic testing which includes gender. So we'll find out the gender in 2 weeks!

Have any of you noticed if the old wives tale about heart rate and gender were right?
