I hope this doesn’t come off as insensitive, I don’t mean it that way at all. It’s hard being pregnant with the first grandchild when your sister-in-law has been trying for almost 4 years to get pregnant. She doesn’t talk to me at all. I’ve seen her once since I announced and she sat in the car the entire time and my MIL went out and sat with her the entire time we were there. My in-laws seem to be walking on egg shells about my pregnancy, stuck between wanting to be excited and wanting to sympathize with my sister-in-law. They never ask questions or ask how the pregnancy is going or that they are excited. It’s really sucking the excitement out of me and my husband especially making him feel bad about this whole thing.
