No ones allowed to wear white to my wedding other than me. Everyone else can wear anything they want.

Most weddings it’s obvious not to wear white. Red is a tricky color. You’ll want to stay away from bright red red or loud patterns. I photographed a lot of weddings and have seen a lot of wedding guest fails that fall under wearing white, red or loud obnoxious patterns. 
However, everyone is different in how they want people to dress at their wedding. They usually state the style they want you to wear on the invite/ save the date cards. 
Maroon/burgundy is a good choice if you want to go the red route, it’s more of a muted red and honestly very striking.

No white. I usually look at the invite to see if maybe there’s a hint at the color scheme... don’t want to match the decor.
