Did your doctor tie your tubes during your c-section or did they wait days later to do it?

For those of you who have had the experience of a c-section and getting your tubes tied, did your doctor tie your tubes during the actual surgery (right after baby was born), or did they wait and ask you to make an appointment to come back to have them tied? 
I plan on getting mine tied this time around. This will be my 3rd baby and 3rd c-section. Since I’m finally having a boy I’ve decided it’s enough. I just don’t know what to expect when it comes to getting my tubes tied.

With my first they asked if i wanted it done as i was waiting for my spinal to kick in 😳 clearly declined but will hack it done this time.

I have mine scheduled for sept 28 with a tubal being done along with.

Same as previous poster here - for insurance purposes you have to have it authorized well ahead of time. I had mine done during the c-section and it only took a few minutes extra. :)

My 3rd csection is coming up in August, and the doctor is going to tie my tubes while he has me open on the table. Due to my insurance his office needs to obtain a pre auth 30 days prior to the surgery date, so had I of waited then getting it done during the surgery probably wouldn’t have been an option.

My SIL and my mother, both had there tubes tied during the c-section surgery. I’ve read that if you don’t give your doctor enough notice about having it done than they won’t do the procedure during the surgery. I was planning on having mine tied during this c-section come October but I’ve decided not to. It will be my 3rd, but I’m not willing to give up my choice to have children. If my Master doesn’t want more he can get a vasectomy.
