I made this poll based off a personal experience, but was curious as to what your opinions were.

When I was in high school, I saw a suspicious man park his car in front of my house while I was riding my bike. I told my dad that it made me feel weird.

It was brushed off, and a few days later the police came to ticket the car (no parking zone) and noticed a body inside of the car.

My dad remembered what I told him, so he contacted the police and as a result I had to testify in front of the murderer. (The man who parked the car) I remember my mother being upset with my dad’s decision to not keep it anonymous, since I was underage.

So, my question to CC is, if your child saw suspicious activity, would you report it? Would you try to protect your child by keeping the tip anonymous? What would you do in a situation similar to this?
