Pointing instead of using words
My daughter is 13.5 months and jabbers all day long, but I can’t get her to say words of what she wants. She will point to whatever she wants. I repeatedly say the word before giving it to her and sometimes she will repeat back and sometimes she won’t. She says mama and dada and does a few animal noises, but that’s about it. Her comprehension of words is amazing, but I’m worried because she’s not really saying any.
