I was telling my boyfriend I scheduled is to tour one of the hospitals next week so we can figure out where we want to deliver and he said he didn’t understand why we needed to tour it (where we are from there’s only 1 option but we live in St. Louis now) then I told him that eventually we would be going for our birthing classes too and he proceeded to tell me how he doesn’t understand why HE needs to go to the class and how his dad never went to anything like that so why does he have to. I tried explaining to him that when the moment comes I’ll need reminders how to breathe properly and they will talk us through what to expect with labor and delivery. Anyway he just keeps going on about how he isn’t going to go to that class until I broke down in tears telling him that I needed the class because this is my first baby and I’m scared and don’t know what to expect and finally he said he would go and that he didn’t understand that the class was for ME and that he was there to support me. He’s lying and just feels bad since he made me cry. Now I’m annoyed and emotional. I just needed to vent. Normally he is the greatest boyfriend in the whole world but he doesn’t understand how big of a deal this is. 😐
