I suppose the crooked comment could be considered libelous if she can’t prove there was fraud, but the doctor seems hella petty over a Facebook review.

Yes. Slander can ruin a person, the doctor simply wants the truth to be told, not an outright lie. 
Like the article says, if you have a negative experience, feel free to express it with things that can be backed up. “I didn’t feel this doctor took the time to understand my compliant.” Is much different than, “This Doctor is fake and never went to medical school.” 
Your review has to be honest. No one will believe “I had to wait 9 hours!” When the doctor office is only open for 7. 
Slander is still fucked up. Your ruining someone’s job, their life, their families life, because your ticked off. 
If it was that big of an issue? You report them to the medical board and let them deal with it, and simply review that you had a negitive experience without slandering the person themselves.

There were ways around it other than suing. I appreciate when businesses reply to negative comments with explanations. If she outright lied, call her out in a reply, but a million dollar lawsuit? Kind of substantiates that he was running a scam, lol.

the doctor probably makes 350000 a year so he should go f himself. it's her opinion and he should get over it. What about all the true complaints people have of doctors, why don't they take their licenses away from them ? or penalize them somehow? crying over a review...get over it doc! tell someone who gives a damn.

it's not the patient's fault that doc has a shitty practice. also that doctor leaked her medical and mental health information to the public. that lady could could very easy counter sue for breaking a MASSIVE rule with HIPA for breaching the doctor patient confidentiality rule. that doctor is fucked.

I think this just proves they’re running a shady doctors office. If the person complained multiple times about correcting their billing and nothing was done, and nowwwww the DOCTOR is suing for a million dollars?? Yeah, shady. They’re gonna lose their business for this and not for the single negative review. 😐

Eh their complaints are pretty stupid. Getting charged for a new patient intake is typical as is being charged for an ultrasound. Both have happened to me and I didnt think to complain or be annoyed at the doctor's office....that's just our health care. Don't shoot the messenger.
