Stopping the pill

So today I went to the er because I been bleeding for more then 10 days and I am on the pill so they did all these test to see what was cause if this to happen and they could find anything so I had to put my input in and tell them that’s it’s the pill that’s making me bleed so much and now as of today I am off the pill what do y’all think should I stop the pill or keep taking it and because I want to stop it I wonder how long am I going to bleed now
