It’s tough to say. 16 is kind of young, but that’s not a bad thing at all. If you’re sure, and you’re sure the person you want to have sex with will treat you well, then why not? Just be safe :) as for being a shameful age, certainly not. I’d say at least half of girls have sex at 16, I did as well and most of my friends. Don’t worry about it, just do what makes you happy and be safe and careful about it :)
