why do people look at you weirs when you try to talk to them???

ok so I am usually quiet as fuck.  I don't really talk much.  I try talking to my classmate and they seem standoffish and look at me weird?  wtf am I doing wrong????

I think this has more to do with anxiety than people looking at you weird hun. It may just be all in your head. 
Start off with smaller conversations and try to look between the persons eyes or slightly above or below if you get that feeling again. Or you can look around you whilst you speak but make sure to look at the person when they speak.
