So ladies- I’m monitoring my blood loss per period and have for awhile. I just had my second child back in April and just received my first period. The thing is- it is literally a crime scene and I’ve lost 5 ounces of blood in about 15 hours of my period starting. I use a diva cup to keep track of everything so it is pretty accurate.

I’ve called my OB to see if this was typical because I didn’t even bleed this much 6 weeks after my first child was born, but would like a mom’s perspective on the topic in case this is completely not normal and they say it is (which happens way too often at my OB)
