Contractions

I was up all night last night had cramping on my right side, contractions were very untimely, but consistent. Finally got comfortable fell asleep and woke up hyperventilating crying due to a bad dream about my husband. Woke him up made him hold me because I was so upset. He held me and we had sex. (Been forever since that happened) been sitting on the couch been having contractions about every 8 min apart. Have been going on for at least an hr now. I had my cervix checked 2 days ago and she did a sweep on it and I was dilated to a 2 then. Should I stay or should I go is the question......
