Did you see the flicker?  My OB and also my hospital sonographer said in early pregnancy that don't use the equipment to actually hear the heartbeat because it creates too much heat and can be very harmful to the baby.  I know some still do it so maybe it's a good thing you didn't hear it as of now so little one is not affected

I didn’t hear my sons heartbeat at any of my ultrasounds. I have a nee doctor this time around so I’m sure if I will or not.
