I feel like my mother in law is taking over my pregnancy. I strictly said i don’t want a gender reveal, maternity pictures or a baby shower. I mostly don’t want a baby shower because I’m over seas and don’t know a lot of people. I also hate when people buy me things. If my husband and i want something we get it ourselves. She just told my husband she wants to throw me a baby shower and wants to get i contact with old friends and family back home. She is going against my wishes. My husband gave me a heads up about it but I’m frustrated. Why is she doing this? Why do people not listen and respect your wishes?
