I’m gonna throat punch the next person who says.....

Younger brides who are in school! I need your advice please!!!! I’m 20 and in nursing school. Every single person who we tell or who finds out we are engaged ALWAYS says “you need to wait until after school” “you’re gonna wait until you’re out of college right” or my favorite, “getting married was the last thing on my mind at 20, you need to wait a few years”

I appreciate people just trying to look out for us, BUT YOU ARE NOT ME. you don’t know how my relationship is so you should probably stop trying to imply what I should do and when I should get married. Me and my Fiancé have been together for 4+ years and we have talked and decided that getting married before I finish school will work the best for us. So my question is, how do you all keep from getting upset when people say these things?? We are overwhelmed with joy and it feels like nearly everyone else is just judging us. It’s really upsetting☹️
