BC to reduce Cyst

I was suppose to start fertility treatment this cycle, I went in for an ultrasound yesterday and they found a 1inch cyst on my left ovary. They recommend to either wait and see if it would go away on its own or to take BC for 2 weeks and see if that helped. I decided to do the BC because I’m just not patient to wait and we’ve gone through so much TTC. Has anyone taken BC to reduce cyst size and if so has it helped. I’m really starting to give up, if it’s not one thing it’s another 😔
