Has anyone had kidney stones? If so which is worse?

Not kidney but gallstones. Would rather go through my super painful labor again than gallstones. Scared the shit out of my husband when I woke up near 4 am screaming for help lol. Had to have my gallbladder removed

I get kidney stones regularly due to kidney disease and let me tell you, I’ve been through I medicated labor 3 times now and will again in November (knock on wood) and I’d much rather do labor a million times over. There are no positions and no OTC medications you can take to alleviate kidney stone pain. I have to go to the ER every single time I get them because they are so debilitating.

When I was at the ER for my kidney stones the nurse said she had 4 kids naturally and kidney stones and she would rather have another kid naturally because the pain didn’t compare.

never had kidney stones but I've had galstones and those were way worse than labor.

Kidney stone hurt way worse to me. I was screaming. Labor I barely felt.
