My local sheriffs department is literally getting the shit beat out of them right now. Why, you may ask? For literally doing their damn job for the first time ever. Drugs are a huge issue where I live. After graduation the other night the grad students had a giant party. Literally locking a home owner out of their own home and taking over the house. Over 80+ grads out of 200 got busted with hard and illegal drugs and underage drinking. Kids were driving drunk and at least 5-10 were taken to the hospital for having reactions to hard drugs such as ecstasy and adderall. The kids that were underage got requested for juvenile court if they tested positive for drugs or alcohol in their system. Those that didn’t have any in their system were simply sent home. Those of age and under influence received a citation.

My community is all over their asses saying “it was an innocent party” “let them have fun”. Are you fucking kidding me?!? You’re ok with kids ending up in the hospital due to drug use? Not simple drugs either, hard drugs. You’re ok with them driving drunk and completely destroying someone else’s home and valuables?! This is the world we live in now? Where this is acceptable and “just fun” and the police are in backlash for doing their jobs? I’m mind fucked and utterly disgusted.
