With the state of Florida having one of the broadest and strict laws regarding sex offenders, many who have committed a non-violent sex act have found themselves a home. This place is for those who were convicted of crimes such as being 18 and having consensual sex with a 16 year old to urinating in a park witnesses by a mother and child. You have to apply to live in the village. One of the main rules: No serial rapist or diagnosed pedophiles. This is a village for those whose lives have been tarnished by a label that doesn't quite fit them. They've become great assets to the city of Pahokee and slowly changing their stigma surrounding non-violent sex crimes.
